Hello lovely readers and happy international labor day!

This was supposed to be such a perfect date because it’s a holiday and because it’s a Thursday and everybody gets the Friday off, too. And we were supposed to go to the beach and celebrate the season opening with cocktails and sandy hair. Unfortunately, this is no beach weather. It’s stay in, grab a cup of tea and a blanket kinda weather. So if you are stuck indoors this long weekend, just like me, I thought about bringing some color under those grey clouds.

spike and skulls earrings 6 I’m preparing for a new summer fair and I’ve made this for the summer L’Aura collection and while putting them together I thought these are so easy to make that I should make a DIY for them.

spike and skulls earrings 2 You will need to make a visit to your local crafts store and get these:

spike and skulls earrings tools 2x (skull beads, spikes, bicone crystals, seedbeads, earring hooks, eyepins)

spike and skulls earrings steps 1. if you can’t find eyepins, just get some headpins and turn them into eyepins, like I did, using some round nose pliers

2. open the hoop of the eyepin and attach the spike; close back the hoop

3. add the skull, then the seedbead and last the bicone crystal

4. make another hoop and attach the earring hook

Aren’t these fun? I have them in all the colors of the rainbow, if it keeps raining might be the only rainbow I’ll see for a while.
